Opportunity

Facing strong competition from other tourist destinations, Norfolk Island Tourism had clear objectives to build brand awareness and engagement, and drive travel to Norfolk Island.

Solution

We developed the ‘Experience Norfolk Island’ campaign which played to audiences desire to travel by giving them the chance to select their favourite type of holiday for the chance to win it. The interactive custom-built platform integrated destination video content to bring each of the three experiences to life. The options not only gave us the ability to add interactivity but allowed us to immediately segment the audience on entry and align with a content strategy. Post entry we were able to further profile the audience through a consumer survey, incentivised with additional entries into the promotion.

Result

The information gained from this campaign aided in identifying strong travel prospects who were immediately targeted with travel offers. We were able to attribute bookings directly to the campaign to measure the effectiveness.
